    • Prof. Jenshan Lin received the 2016 Tina Quach Outstanding Service Award from IEEE RFIC Symposium.
    • Ms. Ron-Chi Kuo won the Best Student Paper Award 2nd place in the 2016 IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Conference for the paper: “3-D Wireless Charging System with Flexible Receiver Coil Alignment.”.
    • Prof. Jenshan Lin received the Distinguished Alumnus Award of National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Hsinchu, Taiwan, on April 9, 2016.
    • Ms. Tien-Yu Huang won the Best Student Paper Award Second Place in the 2016 IEEE Radio and Wireless Week’s Biomedical Wireless Technologies, Networks, and Sensing Systems (BioWireless) for the paper: “Intermodulation effect of detecting two subjects within antenna beamwidth of a CW Doppler radar.”
    • Ms. Tien-Yu Huang won the First Place Best Student Paper Award in the 2015 IEEE International Microwave Workshop Series on RF and Wireless Technologies for Biomedical and Healthcare Applications (IMWS-Bio 2015) for the paper:
    • “Non-invasive Measurement of Laboratory Rat’s Cardiorespiratory Movement Using a 60-GHz Radar and Nonlinear Doppler Phase Modulation” coauthored by Prof. Jenshan Lin and Prof. Linda Hayward (UF Department of Physiological Sciences).
    • Prof. Jenshan Lin gave a keynote speech in the 2015 IEEE International Microwave Workshop Series on RF and Wireless Technologies for Biomedical and Healthcare Applications (IMWS-Bio 2015):
    • “Noncontact Vital Sign Detection Using Microwave Radar: Applications in Biology, Medicine, and Beyond”
    • Ms. Ron-Chi Kuo and coauthors won the Best Paper Award of the 2015 IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Conference for the paper: “A 3D Resonant Wireless Charger for a Wearable Device and a Mobile Phone” coauthored by Prof. Lin and their collaborators in MediaTek. The overall Best Paper was voted by all attendees, and announced after the conference.
