Working Experience

  • Graduate Intern at Intel from Feb. 2012 to Nov. 2012
    • Perform rigorous correlation between full wave simulation and measurement for different components, such as transmission lines, vias, imperfect ground plane on board and package at multi-GHz. Correlation results help build up the standard modeling techniques for such components.
    • Design novel structures on strip line and microstrip line for crosstalk reduction in high-speed I/O channel, which are enablers of high speed I/O channel for Intel 22nm System-On-Chip(SOC) products.
    •  Evaluate a few on die routing plans by full wave simulation at 10 GHz for cost reduction in next-generation core processors.
  • R&D at AUO corporation
    • Design and implement 14 inch AMOLED panel with IGZO transistors, which was the 1st one in the world then. High mobility device helps to increase the aperture ratio, which increase the panel brightness and saves the power consumption.. Design compensation circuits for AMOLED panel in 2.4 inch display to improve the panel uniformity and reliability. The circuit compensates the voltage drop due to the IR drop and OLED degradation. Three patents with this technology were published.
